Do I need my own sewing machine?
No you don't. The sewing machines are provided in class, and an overlocker will also be available, using generic colours.
What sewing machine brand is recommended?
For domestic machines, Brother, Singer or Elna are the best. For industrial machines, Kingstar, Juki or Gemsy.
Roughly what is the cost of a sewing machine?
A maximum of R3,000 for a domestic sewing machine. Industrial machines are between R7,000 and R10,000.
Do I buy my own stationery and fabrics?
No, they are all provided in the course.
Do I need sewing experience for the beginners course?
No you don't.
Do I need sewing experience for the advanced course?
Yes, especially pattern making.
Do I need my own stationery?
No, the stationery kit will be provided, together with the class book.
Are the fees refundable?
No, they are non-refundable.

No, you don't.
What is the minimum age to sign up?
13 years and older.
Are the fees required in full?
For physical classes we require a 50% deposit and the remaining balance is due in the middle of the course.
On which days are the classes?
Gauteng: Saturday mornings 9am to 12pm, Saturday afternoons 1pm to 4pm, Thursdays and Fridays 9am to 12pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5pm to 8pm.
Other provinces: Sundays only, 9am to 3:30pm.
