Do I need my own sewing machine?
No you don’t. Durban and Cape Town students will need their own machines due to travel logistics.

Roughly what is the cost of a sewing machine
Between R1800 to R2400, it could be more depending on inflation.
Do I need my own overlocker?
Not for basic sewing classes, for advanced it is optional.
Do I need sewing experience for beginners course?
No you don’t
Do I need sewing experience for advanced course?
Yes especially pattern making.
Do I need my own stationery?
Yes, you will need the following:
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Sharpener
- Ruler
- Paper scisssors
- Fabric scissors
- Dressmaking chalk
- Tracing wheel
- Measuring tape
- Box of pins
- Paper glue
Are the fees refundable?
No, they are non-refundable.
Can I select online classes and not do all?
No, you can’t select the classes, you sign up for all.
Can I switch between online & physical classes?
No, if you sign up for physical classes you only take physical and vice versa.
Are the fees required in full?
For physical classes we require 50% deposit & remaining balance is due right in the middle of the course, online classes are a full payment.
On which days are the classes?
GAUTENG:
- Saturday morning: 9am to 12pm
- Saturday afternoons : 1pm to 4pm
- Thursday & Fridays 9am to 12pm
- Tuesday and thursdays 5pm to 8pm
OTHER PROVINCES:
- Sunday’s only: 9am to 3:30pm
